Active or real time GPS trackers almost always come with a monthly subscription plan. Consider them just like your cell phones; you have to pay the carrier a monthly fee in order to use them.

In fact, GL300 tracker uses the same T-Mobile SIM card that a lot of us have in our mobile phones. This SIM card is used to send location data and other information to SpyTec server which can be accessed in real time at its portal or account interface.

Like many portable real time trackers, Spytec GPS tracker offers 3 kinds of monthly subscription plans. The only difference between them is the frequency of update or refresh rate.
