How do I know if my tracker is charging?  - Spytec GPS GL300

To recharge the unit, simply take it inside and plug it into wall power. The red PWR LED will flash while the battery is charging, then will stay solid once fully charged. For an overview of the charger, please refer to our GL300 User Manual ↗️

Charging Status Indicator

Using the web app, the charging status icon will appear at the top right of the tracking tile (see figure below). This indicates that the tracker is actively charging. 

Please note: The tracker will not typically update its battery percentage on the Spytec GPS platform while charging.

SpyTec GL300 Extended Battery Review If you are already an owner of SpyTec GL300 then you might be aware that with normal usage the battery does not last more than 2 weeks. If the environmental conditions and cellular reception is not good then that number can go even down. Fortunately SpyTec gives the option of an extended battery that they claim lasts 6 months. That means you just need to charge it twice a year. Pretty impressive huh? Because of its small size, GL300 includes only 1 AA sized battery which needs to be charged frequently.
