Why is the tracker’s battery percentage not updating?

When charging your GL300, chances are it is not receiving any GPS or cellular signal due to it being placed inside a building or enclosed area. When you reinstall the tracker it may take some time to reconnect with the cellular and GPS network. During this process the green CEL LED will flash rapidly once every second to indicate your GL300 is attempting to re-establish cellular connection. Once connected the green LED will flash once every 3 seconds. Now the GPS tracker can report its battery level status, position and other info to your Spytec portal dashboard.

So the best solution is to do nothing and let the device do its job. When the GPS tracker successfully establishes a connection to the cellular network (which may take a few minutes) it will report its updated battery and position status to the online tracking portal.

If the tracker fails to update its battery status even after a long time, try moving the tracker to a different location with access to clear sky and better cellular signal strength. If none of the solutions work for you please contact Spytec support team for further assistance.
